Free Range Living (freerangeliving.com.au) brings ways to inspire, create, adapt and evolve to living and transitioning to new resilient, localised, diverse and nourishing places.
The passion behind freerangeliving is driven by its director, Adam Littman, who sees the shift for local action by communities working to a future where local economies are valued and nurtured; where lower energy use is a benefit, and where enterprise, creativity, and building residence contribute to cornerstones of a new economy.
Adam is inspired by the environment, design, developing community leadership and how these integrate, with qualifications in Environmental Science (BSc, Macquarie); Horticulture (Diploma of Horticulture – Landscape Design, Ryde); Engineering (Diploma of Engineering – Civil, Sydney); Permaculture (PDC, #1013, 2004, Sydney); and Organic Farming (Certificate III, Richmond).
Conceiving his practice has allowed him to provide training as a platform to extend his ability and knowledge through facilitation, presentation, design and consulting services to a wider audience.
Thriving with his young family on the fringe of Sydney neighbouring the Royal National Park and the Pacific Ocean, he along with his new passion of attempting to stand on two feet at his nearest beach is balanced by his slow but ever increasingly skill of vegetable whispering.
